A special event dedicated to honoring military service was held on Monday in Rock Falls. The Veterans Appreciation Program and Expo was be hosted at the Rock Falls Community Building on West 10th Street. State Senator Li Arellano, Junior, lead the initiative, aiming to recognize and celebrate the sacrifices of veterans. The expo also featured resources, information booths, and programs tailored for those who served, as well as their families. Terry Prince, Director of the Illinois Department of Veterans’ Affairs, highlighted the community’s commitment to those who have served.
