Zach Yoder will become interim president of both facilities, taking leave from OSF Saint Anthony’s Health Center in Alton. Lisa Schepers, currently vice president and chief nursing officer, will serve as interim president at OSF Saint Anthony’s.

OSF HealthCare has announced a strategic leadership shift to unify three medical centers—OSF HealthCare Saint Luke in Kewanee, St. Mary, and Holy Family—under a single president, strengthening its regional care approach across west central Illinois. Jackie Kernan, current president of Saint Luke, will maintain her role during the transition. After the new leader is appointed, Kernan will focus on OSF HealthCare Saint Katharine Medical Center in Dixon. These changes take effect January 5, 2026. OSF HealthCare operates 17 hospitals with over 26,000 staff and is recognized nationally for its innovation in health care delivery and technology.
