Sterling Police reported three arrests. Nicholas Galvan, age 63, of Sterling, was taken into custody on a Whiteside County warrant. Melvin G. Harris, age 36, also of Sterling, was arrested during a traffic stop on West Fourth Street. Reyna S. Guzman, age 48, of Rock Falls, faces possession of methamphetamine following a traffic stop on East Miller Road. Both Galvan and Harris were transported to Whiteside County Jail. Harris was given a notice to appear.
