Illinois Valley Community College has opened registration for its 27th annual Eagles Softball Clinic. The event is scheduled for February 14th and 15th at the IVCC gym, welcoming students in grades two through eight. Young athletes will receive hands-on instruction in hitting, fielding, and additional essential softball skills. The clinic aims to support players of all experience levels with guidance from qualified coaches and experienced players. Spaces tend to fill quickly, so early sign-up is recommended for those looking to strengthen their softball fundamentals.
Sessions will be split by grade level, with separate times for grades 2-4 and 5-8. Registration costs $40 for both days or $25 for one day, including a T-shirt. For more details, call the athletics department or visit ivcceagles.com.
Sessions for grades 2-4 will run from 8 to 10:30 AM on Saturday and 10 AM to 12:30 PM on Sunday. Grades 5-8 can participate from 11:30 AM to 2 PM on Saturday and 1:30 to 4 PM on Sunday. The full session costs $40 and includes five hours of instruction and a T-shirt. Players attending just one day pay $25. Softball gloves and tennis shoes are required, and bats are welcome if labeled.
