Sterling Police handled a busy day with three notable incidents. David J. Masa, a Plano resident, faces charges of retail theft after an arrest at a local business. In a separate incident, officers cited Celeste R. Lopez of Sterling for operating a vehicle without insurance.
Authorities apprehended Brandon D. Staker, also from Sterling. Staker was taken into custody on a warrant related to possession of methamphetamine and criminal trespass. Police are reminding residents of the importance of maintaining proper auto insurance and remaining vigilant against illicit activities in the community. Investigations into these cases are ongoing.
