Sterling has outlined its ambitious street work plan for 2026, with a major focus on infrastructure upgrades. The city is set to invest $4.9 million in the complete reconstruction of Griswold and Woodburn Avenues, targeting improved road conditions and safety. In addition, resurfacing efforts are scheduled along Fourth Street, also known as Route 2, stretching from Locust Street to 19th Avenue.
City officials emphasize that these upgrades aim to enhance traffic flow and support neighborhood revitalization. Residents are encouraged to stay informed about construction schedules and potential detours as progress moves forward in the coming months.
