Set sail for a mathematical adventure at Odell Public Library on March 14th, as the community celebrates Pi Day. From 1:00 to 3:14 p.m., participants of all ages can join a “pi”rate treasure hunt, blending math challenges with pie-themed activities. Successful treasure hunters will be rewarded with homemade pie courtesy of Morrison’s “Pie Lady,” Louise Clark.
This free, drop-in event is part of Odell’s special grant partnership, inspiring communities to discover math’s creative side. Pi Day launches a year of math celebrations, highlighting how math shapes areas like art, nature, and music, demonstrating that math truly belongs to everyone.
