Sterling Police have reported a series of recent law enforcement actions. Wesley D. Petty Jr. of Rock Falls, along with Sterling residents Toshua M. Getting and Nicholas T. Jones, were taken into custody on outstanding warrants. In addition, officers issued traffic citations to Sonya L. Tavares and Deborah L. Pineda. Police emphasize that all individuals cited or arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
