In support of the Western Illinois University Women’s Basketball Team, the City of Macomb will be opening City Hall for a free community watch party  tonight. Community members are welcome to watch the NCAA Tournament game starting at 4:30PM in the Community Room at 232 E. Jackson St. in Macomb, IL. Popcorn and soft drinks will be provided for those who attend to cheer on the Leathernecks.

“Everyone in the community is so proud of our fighting Leatherneck Women’s Basketball team” said Macomb Mayor Michael Inman. “We believe opening the Community Room at City Hall for fans to gather, watch and cheer on the Leathernecks on a large format screen, with the addition of soft drinks and snacks, is a great opportunity to show our support”, Inman added.
