Sterling Police officers have made two notable arrests. Joshua L. Davis, 49, was taken into custody in the 400 block of West 10th Street on a federal warrant. In a separate traffic stop on West 5th Street, authorities apprehended Shauntai S. Reyes, 38, on a warrant from Rockford. Reyes faces charges connected to driving under the influence, along with additional offenses. Following their arrests, both Davis and Reyes were transported to Whiteside County Jail, where they await further legal proceedings.
All are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
