The Emma Hubbs Tennis Club will host a cookout fundraiser on Saturday, April 18th, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at County Market, 1380 N Galena Ave, Dixon. The event will support the club’s ongoing mission to promote tennis, provide scholarship opportunities, and enhance local recreational facilities.
The cookout fundraiser will feature classic grilled favorites, refreshments, and an opportunity for community members, families, and tennis enthusiasts to connect while supporting a meaningful cause. Proceeds from the event will benefit the club’s scholarship program, which helps make tennis accessible to players of all ages and backgrounds.
In addition to supporting scholarships, funds raised will help sustain the club’s annual tennis tournament, scheduled for July 27th–31st, 2026. This highly anticipated event brings together players from across the area for several days of competitive play and community engagement.
Funds will also contribute to a much-needed resurfacing project for the tennis courts, ensuring safe, high-quality playing conditions for current and future athletes.
