Veterans at the Whiteside County Senior Center in Sterling have two special opportunities to connect with fellow servicemembers. The 2nd Friday of each month, at 9:00 AM, the Veterans Coffee Hour welcomes local veterans for a relaxing start to the day, featuring conversation and camaraderie over a cup of coffee.
In addition, the center hosts a Veterans Breakfast on the second Thursday each month—offering a free meal at 9:00 AM, thanks to sponsorship from local groups. The next breakfast is set for May 14th, inviting veterans to gather, share experiences, and strengthen their community bonds.
