Edward R. Wilhite of Joliet and Chelsea A. Morrison of Rock Falls, both in their thirties, have been arrested following a Dixon Police Department investigation into claims of child sexual abuse. Authorities allege the pair committed multiple felonies, including predatory criminal sexual assault of a child, aggravated criminal sexual abuse, sexual exploitation, and distributing harmful material to a minor.
The investigation began in July 2025, leading to their arrests earlier this year. The Lee County State’s Attorney and Shining Star Children’s Advocacy Center assisted with the case.
Both suspects remain presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
