Whiteside County officials are warning residents about a spike in aggressive and misleading door-to-door and telephone sales tactics. The alert emphasizes that the only authorized energy aggregation provider for the county is MC Squared Energy Services, known as mc2. Importantly, county representatives and mc2 will never approach residents at their homes or make unsolicited phone calls.
