Bishop Hill Midsommar Music Festival Returns June 20, 2026

The village of Bishop Hill will come alive Saturday, June 20th, with the much-anticipated Midsommar Music Festival, running from 10 AM to 2 PM. Festivities kick off in the village park, featuring crafts, activities, food booths, and yard games hosted by local businesses. Highlights include a chainsaw artist at the Creative Commons and a series of stage events, such as Dr. Dean Campbell’s “It’s not Magic, It’s Science” at 10 AM, a live historic weapons display at 11 AM, music from the Orion Community Band at noon, and a performance by John Heasley at 1 PM. The event concludes with maypole decorating, a parade, traditional dancing, and refreshments. Admission is free—just bring a chair and enjoy the festivities.
