Severe Weather Updates for the Tri-Counties Area on June 11, 2026

Update 2:09 PM: Tornado Watch extended to 9 PM.

Update 11:34: Round one is passing over the area. The afternoon storms are expected to be severe as of now.

Update 10:50 AM: the entire area from Iowa to Indiana has been upgraded to a Torcon 7/10.

Update 8:30 AM: Most of the area has been upgraded to a level 4/5. EF2+ tornadoes are possible. Winds of 70+ MPH are possible.
We will post severe weather updates on this page. Part of the listening area is under a tornado watch until 3 PM Thursday afternoon. We will also do live updates on our “Facebook Page.”

Charge your electronics, check batteries in your weather radio and flashlights, have important necessary, such as medications, ready to take shelter in a basement or interior room, have kennels ready for your pets, stay tuned to television and radio for severe weather updates.
