Senator Neil Anderson Summer Reading Program

Illinois State Senator Neil Anderson is inviting students entering first through twelfth grade in the 47th District to join his Summer Reading Club. The challenge, called A New Adventure Begins With A Book, asks students to read eight books by July 31st. Participants can use nearby district libraries, complete a quick online form, and receive an official certificate of recognition from the Illinois Senate. “Summer break is a great time for students to keep learning and set goals for themselves,” said Senator Anderson. “This program gives kids an opportunity to challenge themselves and be recognized for their hard work.”
