Memorial Hospital Earns 5 Star Rating
Memorial Hospital is proud to be recognized as one of only 16 hospitals in Illinois to earn a 5-star rating for Nurse Communication in the latest Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) survey results. This distinction places Memorial Hospital among the top-performing hospitals in the nation, ranking in the top 10% nationally for nurse communication.
The data, collected between July 2024 and June 2025 and released by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) on May 15th, 2026, was highlighted by Becker’s Healthcare in its list of hospitals receiving 5-star ratings for nurse communication.
These results reflect how well patients felt their nurses explained things clearly, listened carefully, and treated them with courtesy and respect throughout their hospital stay.
