Ashley England
The Galesburg Police Department continues to investigate a serious accident that occurred on November 22, 2025, in the 1300 block of South Lake Storey Road. Emergency responders extricated one driver following a two-vehicle collision that left both drivers, identified as Marte Glass, 72, and Ashley England, 32, with severe injuries. Both were transported to hospitals in Galesburg and Peoria. Marte Glass succumbed to her injuries on November 30th. Ashley England was arrested on December 23rd in Peoria on multiple charges, including aggravated DUI, reckless homicide, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of controlled substances. She remains in custody at Knox County Jail.
