100 Years of the Kewanee School Band Concert Fundraiser on May 11, 2024

In a harmonious blend of tradition and celebration, the Kewanee Schools Foundation has announced a special concert to celebrate the centennial of the Kewanee High School Band. Slated for May 11, 2024, this musical extravaganza will feature the All-Star Wind Ensemble, showcasing a century of musical excellence. The concert will take place in Petersen Auditorium at 7 PM. The goal of the event is to raise $7,000 for a PA system for the KHS Music Department, which will enhance the performances of the marching band and concert band at events and competitions. Tickets are available for just $5, offering an affordable way to support and enjoy the rich musical heritage of Kewanee High School. There will be a silent auction in the Petersen Auditorium lobby before the concert and at intermission, as well as a 50/50 drawing. Refreshments will be provided after the concert. Doors open at 6:15 pm.
