A & W star Dillon Horrie, Kewanee star Braden Clark have each been named to the Blue Team at the 2024 Shrine Football game. The game will be played in June at Illinois Wesleyan University and it will provide a remarkable showcase for the players involved. A and W’s on field leader, Dillon Horrie received the call to play for the Blue Team on Defense, selected for his outstanding play at Cornerback for the Titans in the 2023 season. Braden Clark made the Blue Shrine team as one of only two players selected to play Quarterback only. Two other players were selected as Quarterbacks who could also play other positions during the Shrine Game. The Illinois Shrine Football Game was established in 1975 and has become a Spring Football tradition in the state. It allows the best players in Illinois the chance to shine one more time as the best High School Football players in the state, before they head to College Football in the fall. A huge congratulations to Braden Clark and Dillon Horrie on their selection to the 2024 Illinois Shrine Football game.
