Illinois Valley Community College (IVCC) kicked off its spring semester with enthusiasm, marking a vibrant start to the academic year. Under the guidance of President Dr. Tracy Morris, the campus buzzed with activity as faculty and staff volunteers eagerly assisted students. Dr. Morris highlighted the uplifting atmosphere, noting the crucial role the Student Success Center played in facilitating a smooth transition for newcomers. With both student headcount and credit hours on the rise, IVCC’s corridors and classrooms were abuzz with optimism. As the institution now looks forward to the commencement ceremonies in May, the community remains spirited and hopeful.
“The energy of the first days of classes is always so positive! The Student Success Center and all of our volunteers did a great job helping students find their classrooms and connecting them with key support services,” Dr. Morris said.
