The Friday Night Lights at the Annawan-Wethersfield Titan’s game will look a little different. In an inspiring display of community spirit, the Annawan-Wethersfield Titans and the Farmington Farmers are joining forces tonight at the Titan’s home game. They’re not just playing football; they’re rallying to aid hurricane victims in Florida. Spectators are encouraged to bring essential supplies such as cereal, canned foods, and hygiene products. Whether you’re cheering from the stands or dropping off donations, every bit of help contributes to a great cause. Remember, this is more than a game; it’s a chance to make a difference. The Salvation Army will have a vehicle at the front entrance of the football stadium to drop off items that will be used to make disaster boxes for those in need in Florida. The following is a list of items they need: Boxes of cereal (standard size box, not family size), canned meat (chicken, tuna, etc.), peanut butter, canned soup, boxed meals (mac & cheese, hamburger helper, etc.), canned fruits & vegetables, granola bars, paper towels, and toilet paper. “Every donation helps!”
