Alex Bermudez was presented with the 2024 Kewanee Park District Child’s Best Friend Award on May 16, 2024, at the monthly Park Board meeting. I may have been the only person to attend the meeting, but you can watch the presentation on the live stream from the RegionalMediaNews Facebook page. Director Andy Dwyer presented Alex Bermudez with the award and said that Alex has never said no to helping the park district, and he is always looking for ways to help the park district. Dwyer said that Mr. Bermudez ran the soccer league and was the soccer director. Congratulations, Alex Bermudez!
