Kewanee High School’s standout athlete, Alejandro Duarte, has been honored with a position on the 2024 Illinois High School Football Coaches’ Association All-State Team for Class 4A. This recognition comes after a spectacular season where Duarte led his team with dynamic performances on both offense and defense, notably setting new school records in multiple categories including career points scored and rushing touchdowns. Duarte and his fellow athletes will be officially recognized at the State Championship games in Bloomington, Illinois. His remarkable contributions have not only set high standards at Kewanee but also underscored his role as a key player in high school football statewide.
