In an effort to support local families, Amber Patch-Troxell Insurance Agency has kicked off a month-long food drive. From now until November 24, 2025, the agency is collecting non-perishable items to benefit the Kewanee Food Pantry. Community members can drop off donations at 237 Tenney Street during business hours, Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. Each bag of food donated earns a chance to win a $100 Sav-a-Lot gift card, with the lucky winner announced on November 25th. Organizers hope this initiative will help ensure no neighbor goes hungry as the holiday season approaches.
