Update – Annawan Public Works Repairing Water Leak on Main Street, Boil Order to Follow Water Restoration

As of 5 PM, water has been restored and a boil order is in effect.

There is a water leak in the 200 block of Main Street (Route 6) in Annawan. As crews work on repairs, water service will be temporarily suspended for several addresses. Those impacted have been notified directly. Thank you for your patience and cooperation during this time. A boil order will be in effect for all customers without water.

The Village of Annawan posted an update on the water leak. The 200 block of Route 6 to Route 78 and all houses along Route 78 south of Route 6 will be without water. Annawan Public Works is currently contacting all affected residents.

The Hammond-Henry Clinic in Annawan will be closed today due to the water leak. They advise the Geneseo and Kewanee walk-in clinics are open.
