An arrest warrant has been issued for a 27-year-old Galesburg man in connection to the homicide on Saturday, August 17, 2024. Galesburg responded to the 1400 block of Moshier Avenue at 8:30 PM for a report of gunshots and found Heath D. Williams Sr. with multiple gunshot wounds. Williams was transported to OSF St. Mary Medical Center and succumbed to his injuries around 11:30 PM. As a result of the investigation, an arrest warrant has been issued for Christopher E. Alfaro for first-degree murder and aggravated battery.
