SHARE NOW

Atkinson and Annawan area residents remain without electricity as Ameren works to find a solution to the outage.  According to a release by the Henry County Office of Emergency Management (OEM), the earliest power will be restored to the area is 10:30 AM today, January 22, 224.  Ameren has a mobile substation in place but it is taking longer than expected to get it working due to the weather.  Many residents lost power around noon on Sunday and remain in the dark on Monday morning.  If you need a warming shelter, contact the Henry County Sheriff’s Office at 309-937-3911.  Henry County OEM will provide updates when they receive them.
