Back to School Bash and Community Pool Day at Northeast Park on July 25, 2026

Kewanee families are invited to Northeast Park on Saturday, July 25th, for a community end-of-summer event beginning at 11 AM. The day starts with a back-to-school backpack distribution on the lawn in front of the pool, with school supplies available for children on a first-come, first-served basis. First Christian Church will also offer free clothing for children in need. Then, from noon to 6 PM, the Rotary Club of Kewanee hosts Community Day at Northeast Oasis Pool. Pool capacity is limited to 300, managed by staff throughout the day. Updates will be posted on the “Rotary Club Facebook page.”

Following the Backpack and clothing giveaway, the First Christian Church food pantry will be open and handing out food. First Christian Church is located at 105 Dwight Street in Kewanee.
