On Saturday, October 11th, Bishop Hill’s north village park transforms into a hub of creativity during the annual Pottery and Art Festival. From 10 AM to 4 PM, visitors can enjoy hands-on demonstrations, including Raku firing and wheel throwing, along with a vibrant display of textile and fiber arts. Live music from the Light Girls sets the tone, while food lovers can look forward to a soup dinner fundraiser by the Galva Kiwanis Club and an ice cream social from the Bishop Hill Old Settler Association.

Beyond the festival grounds, guests can browse specialty shops, enjoy local restaurants, and tour area museums showcasing Bishop Hill’s unique heritage. Organizers encourage everyone to join for a day celebrating local creativity, culture, and community connections. The festival promises entertainment and inspiration for all who attend.
