Black Hawk College 5th Annual First Responders Appreciation and Career Exploration Day on November 1, 2024

The Black Hawk College Quad-Cities Campus in Moline is gearing up for its 5th Annual First Responders Appreciation & Criminal Justice Career Exploration Day, scheduled for November 1st. The event is from 11 AM to 2 PM and promises a day filled with insightful workshops on topics ranging from first aid to the role of artificial intelligence in criminal justice. Attendees can also explore career opportunities as agencies display their equipment and vehicles. Plus, an appreciation ceremony will honor nominees for the 2024 First Responder Awards. The program will include:

  • Workshops on first aid, artificial intelligence in criminal justice, and safety and security in the virtual and real worlds.
