The 2024 Stampede Auction of Champion Pumpkins is set to take place on Wednesday, October 23, at Black Hawk College East Campus. The event kicks off at noon in the cafeteria of Building A, where attendees can bid on a variety of pumpkins and pumpkin-themed items. Members of the BHC Livestock Judging Team will be on hand to evaluate and critique each entry, ensuring a fun and fair auction led by esteemed auctioneer and BHC alum, Bill LeSage. This event, sponsored by the BHC East Campus United Way team, invites the public to participate and promises an engaging afternoon with all proceeds benefiting the Kewanee Area United Way. Remember, this is an in-person event only, so come prepared to bid and support a great cause!
