A body has been discovered near a field south of North 19th Road in LaSalle County amid search efforts for a missing individual. On June 24, 2025, the LaSalle County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a missing person. Multiple agencies participated in the operation, working collaboratively to locate the person. At this time, authorities have not provided details regarding the identity of the deceased found on June 25th. The name of the deceased is being withheld pending an autopsy, identification of the deceased, and notification of next of kin.
This incident remains under investigation by the LaSalle County Sheriff’s Office Investigations Division, Illinois State Police Crime Scene Services, and the LaSalle County Coroner’s Office.
