The Kewanee Boilermaker cross country competed in the Riverdale regional on Saturday, Nolie Charlet was Kewanee’s lone runner to advance to the sectional. Charlet finished 16th overall with a time of 20:52 and moved on to sectional as the 3rd individual runner. Nolie will return to this course next Saturday to compete in the Rock Island Alleman sectional. Team captain Alejandra Martinez finished her cross country career placing 36th overall with a time of 22:57. Junior Esmeralda Martinez finished 57th in 24:37 and Tiffany Helton was 84th in 30:40. On the boys side Jason Rusk missed advancing by one as an individual crossing as the 6th individual in 34 place with a time of 18:25. Hunter Vancil was the next Boiler in 54th place running 19:30. Mitchal Thorp finished his cross country career in 69th running 21:05 and freshman Jermain McKnight was 80th in 22:59.
