On September 28th, KHS Sophomore Volleyball won the Galva JV Tournament

KHS Varsity Volleyball finished 2-1-1 at the Knoxville Tournament and had a tournament-wide dance party.

On September 28th, the Kewanee Boilermakers hosted the Boiler Invite at Bakers Park. Nolie Charlet placed 8th with a time of 21:39:00 and Esmeralda Martinez placed 19th with a score of 24:22:00. Hunter Vancil placed 23rd for boys Cross Country.

The Kewanee Boilermaker Cross Country team ran at the TRAC conference meet Tuesday afternoon, October 1st, in Monmouth. For the girls Nolie Charlet finished in 7th place with a time of 21:53 gaining her all-conference honors. Alejandra Martinez finished 17th at 24:00, Esmeralda Martinez finished 31st at 26:16, and Tiffany Helton finished 59th with a time of 32:13. For the boys Jason Rusk was the top finisher at 16th with a time of 18:58 missing all-conference by one place. Hunter Vancil finished 30th with a time of 20:03, Mitchal Thorp finished 55th with a time of 23:20 and Jermain McKnight was 57th with a time of 23:40. The Boilermakers will run in Elmwood on Saturday morning.
Kewanee Boys Golf came in 9th place at the Boys Golf Regionals on October 2nd, with a score of 421. Owen Laue got 35th place with a score of 99, Reid Nichols was in 36th with a score of 100, Landon Sheets and Jack Anderson tied for 45th place with a score of 111, Elijah Mitchel was in 52nd place with a score of 123, and Carver Neuleib came in 53rd place with a score of 141.
Kewanee Tennis fell to Pekin on October 3rd. Riley McClimans & London Pettis won their exhibition against Pekin 6-2.
