MACOMB, IL – Bomber Baseball dropped their season opener in Jacksonville last night, falling to the Crimson 7-0.

They’ll be on the road on Friday at the High School Boys Jamboree at the Future Champions Sports Complex in Jacksonville. The Jamboree begins Friday with over 60 teams from all over the state participating over the course of 3 weekends in the month of March. The Bombers start on Friday at 4:00 p.m., playing Midland (Varna), followed by a game against Plainfield East starting at 6:30 p.m.

Bomber Softball opened their season with a win at Brown County, beating the Hornets 24-4. They’ll look to carry this momentum into their Saturday non-conference road game against Monmouth United, with the first pitch set for 10 a.m.

Bomber Boys Track took second place at the Titan Indoor Invitational on Wednesday, earning 82 points across 14 events with first-place finishes for Kyler Glaue (60m Hurdles), Damone Johnson (Triple Jump), and the 4×400 Relay team. Their next meet is the Pontiac Boys Invite at Illinois Wesleyan in Bloomington today at 4:00 p.m.

Bomber Girls Track won first place at the Titan Indoor Invitational, with 97 points across events with first-place finishes earned by Hailey Emerick (60m Dash, Long Jump), Mirabel Quinn-Necak (400m Dash), and Aubrey Holthaus. Their next meet is the 16th Annual Silver Streak Last Chance Indoor Meet at Monmouth College on Saturday.
