    EFFECTIVE
    This Saturday afternoon from 555 PM until Midnight CDT.
    THREATS
    A couple tornadoes possible, Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph likely, Scattered large hail and isolated very large hail events to 2 inches in diameter possible
    SITUATION
    Thunderstorms will gradually develop this evening and spread into the Watch area. Large hail, damaging gusts, and a few tornadoes are possible with the stronger supercells and embedded thunderstorm clusters. The tornado watch area is approximately along and 75 statute miles north and south of a line from 65 miles west of Burlington IA to 55 miles east southeast of Dubuque IA.     PRECAUTIONS
    A Tornado Watch means conditions are favorable for tornadoes and severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch area. Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for threatening weather conditions and listen for later statements and possible warnings.

MACOMB, IL – Bomber baseball went 1-1 at the High School Boys Jamboree in Jacksonville on Saturday, beating Midland 10-5 and then falling to Plainfield East 3-8. Their scheduled game against Brown County for today’s game was postponed until a later date, their next scheduled game is a road game against Galesburg HS on Tuesday. First pitch is at 4:30.

Bomber Softball shut out Monmouth United 14-0 on Saturday morning. Their road game against Peoria Heights was also postponed until a later date. They’ll be back on the diamond tomorrow, hosting Liberty for a 4:30 game.

Bomber Girls Soccer played in the East Peoria tournament over the weekend, where they got a 3-0 win over East Peoria and then fell 0-2 to Lincoln in the Championship game. Kylie Robinson, Kate Stortzum and Mirabel Quinn Necak were made the All-Tournament team. The Bombers will be hosting Olympia on Tuesday, starting at 4:30.

Bomber Boys Track participated in the Silver Streak Last Chance Indoor on Saturday, with second-place finishes for Dion Doyle (High Jump) and the 4×400 Relay team, as well as a third-place finish for the 4×200 Relay team. Their next meet is at Bushnell-Prairie City on March 25th at 4:00 p.m.

Bomber Girls Track participated in the Silver Streak Last Chance Indoor on Saturday. Their next meet is at Bushnell-Prairie City on March 25th at 4:00 p.m.

The Bomber Scholastic Bowl team participated in the State Championship on Saturday, but went 0-3 in three rounds with losses to Rockford, Aurora, and Carbondale.

The Macomb Downtown Athletic Club has named Senior Dion Doyle & Junior Kylie Robinson as their Most Valuable Players for 2024.
