Bridgeway Welcomes Alyssa Hart as New Vice President of Disability Services

Bridgeway has a new Vice President of Disability Services in Galesburg, Macomb, Pekin, Kewanee, Normal, Loves Park, and the surrounding area. Alyssa Hart was the Director of Student Services for the Dunlap School District for six years before moving to Bridgeway. While at the Dunlap School District, Alyssa Hart oversaw special education, health and wellness, discipline residency, counseling services, evaluations, Medicaid, 504s, transition programs, STEP/DHS programs, hiring and evaluating staff, and return to school planning throughout the pandemic. Alyssa and her team are dedicated to community collaboration, partnerships, and expanding services in the communities Bridgeway serves.

In her role at Bridgeway, she will oversee the functions of the administrative, clinical, and programmatic activities of Bridgeway’s Disability Services/Programs. Some of her duties include:

  • Consultation on best practices for treatment, rehabilitation, recovery, and community service provision
  • Development of new services, programs, contracts, and linkages as necessary
  • Assure that the efficient performance and productivity of the services provided are achieved
  • Ensure that consumer and stakeholder complaints, concerns, and suggestions are handled quickly and effectively
  • Ensure consumer input during the planning, development, delivery, and evaluation of consumer services

Bridgeway provides comprehensive health and human services to a wide range of individuals in Galesburg, Monmouth, Macomb, Pekin, Kewanee, Normal, and Loves Park and their surrounding areas. Bridgeway’s programs and services reflect the diversity of human service needs within the communities served, among the 20 counties in Illinois. Bridgeway’s three core programs are Behavioral Health Services, Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities Services, and Community and Center-Based Employment Opportunities for people with disabilities.
