Bureau County Farm Bureau Ag Literacy Grant Applications Open through August 31st

Bureau County educators have a new opportunity to bring agriculture into the classroom. The Bureau County Farm Bureau Foundation is offering Ag Literacy Grants for Pre-K through 8th grade teachers. One grant provides up to $1,000 for long-term classroom improvements, while another offers up to $500 for supplies and materials. Eligible projects could include incubator programs, ag-themed books, gardens, field trips, pollinator plots, butterfly labs, or guest speakers. The fall application deadline is August 31st.
