Organizers of the Miss World Festival are calling on girls ages four to twenty-one from several Illinois counties to participate in next year’s event. This annual pageant welcomes contestants from Henry, Stark, Bureau, Mercer, Knox, Rock Island, Peoria, Putnam, Marshall, and Warren counties. Pageant packets are expected to go out in May. The Miss World Festival will be held in Kewanee, with the competition set for August 2, 2025. The event aims to promote confidence, public speaking, and community involvement among young women.
