Achievements are piling up for the Cambridge FFA, which has been recognized as the third overall Illinois FFA Premier Chapter and clinched first in the Middle School Premier Chapter category. Members received statewide honors, including state degrees earned by Tucker Snook and Jolene Blackert—an honor held by fewer than 2% of Illinois FFA participants. Highlights include multiple state proficiency winners, top research projects from the Agriscience Fair, and outstanding leadership awards.
The spotlight shines on outstanding achievements at the Illinois FFA, where Jolene Blackert has been honored as one of the state’s top ten chapter presidents. The chapter itself clinched victory in the Agricultural Sales Career Development Event, while Tucker Snook was recognized for excellence in turf grass management. Ellie Doubet took home the state proficiency award for safety, and Olivia Brown was named the Health Science and Technology Supervised Occupational Experience Award Winner. Additional accolades include top honors in multiple Agriscience Fair divisions, and the chapter is now a National Finalist, set to compete at the National FFA Convention this fall.
