Candis Gradert, a dedicated lead homecare assistant with the Henry and Stark County Health Departments, has been named the 2025 Mary I. Hill Homecare Aide of the Year by the Illinois Association of Community Care Program Homecare Providers. Gradert, who’s served area seniors for over nine years, was recognized for her outstanding commitment to providing in-home assistance, including housekeeping, cooking, laundry, and personal care. Home Services Director Missy Schilling praised Gradert’s caring service and emphasized the ongoing demand for devoted aides.
