The Caring Hearts program in Cambridge is reaching out for community support to brighten the holiday season for local children. Organizers have set up a giving tree at the Cambridge Elementary School, each ornament representing a child in need. Participants can choose an ornament, purchase a gift—such as clothing, shoes, coats, gloves, hats, or bedding—and return the unwrapped item with the ornament tag attached. The deadline for donations is December 1, 2025. Program leaders hope that every child in the school district feels the warmth and care of their community this winter, thanks to the generosity of neighbors pitching in.
