In the frosty climate of Geneseo, the 2024 Jingle Run 5K has crowned its champions. Se Ann Shoemaker led the women’s division, crossing the finish line with vigor, while Karson Shrum dominated the men’s category, showcasing remarkable endurance. Despite the challenging winter conditions, participants displayed incredible spirit. The City of Geneseo’s Street and Police Departments played essential roles in ensuring runner safety by managing icy routes. Kudos also to the Central Bank Illinois and the Geneseo Kiwanis Club, whose efforts in organizing and volunteering at key points made the event a resounding success.
