Kewanee Central School has launched a winter glove and mitten drive to support local students as colder weather approaches. Organized by Central K Kids, the initiative aims to collect new or gently used gloves and mittens to ensure every child stays warm this season. Community members are encouraged to participate by donating at 215 East Central Boulevard. The collection runs through December 19th, providing time for individuals to contribute to this effort. Organizers hope to reach as many students as possible, emphasizing the importance of warmth and comfort during the winter months. The school expresses gratitude for the community’s support. “Your donation of mittens or gloves makes a big difference. Thank you for helping us spread warmth and care!”
