Central School’s Alicia Ralston Nominated for Illinois Teacher of the Year Award

Central School’s own Mrs. Alicia Ralston has been nominated for the Illinois State Board of Education’s Teacher of the Year Award, part of the annual Those Who Excel & Teacher of the Year program. Recognizing outstanding educators statewide, this honor highlights Mrs. Ralston’s multifaceted role as a 5th-grade teacher, mentor, instructional coach, and leader within the school. Colleagues and students alike praise her dedication, innovative teaching methods, and leadership on the Instructional Leadership Team. Mrs. Ralston’s devotion to student achievement and professional growth has made a significant, positive impact at Central School and throughout the Kewanee district.
