    IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Extensive street flooding and flooding of creeks and rivers are possible.

    ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Thunderstorms are expected across the watch area tonight into Sunday morning. Very high rainfall rates of 2 inches or greater in a short time are possible, which could lead to flash flooding particularly in urban areas. In addition, with the potential for repeated rounds of storms, some locations could receive 2 to 4 inches of rain with locally higher amounts possible. With saturated soils from previous rainfall, these rainfall rates and rainfall amounts will lead to an increased risk for flash flooding.

  1. Discussion on an Ordinance to Adopt a Budget for the City of Macomb, McDonough County, Illinois for the Fiscal Year Commencing on May 1, 2024, and ending on April 30, 2025.
    • This ordinance had first read last Monday night. Discussion is planned.
  2. Discussion on an Ordinance to Amend the City Fee Schedule.
    • This ordinance had first read last Monday night. Discussion is planned.
  3. Discussion on Special Census Timeline and Field Representative Recruitment Process.
    • CDC Bannon has included two memos, and program presentation. Discussion is planned.
  4. Discussion on McDonough County Public Transportation making application to Illinois Department of Transportation for Statewide Planning and Research Funds.
    • Transit Director Lambert has included a memo. Discussion is planned.
  5. Discussion on an Agreement between the City of Macomb and the Macomb Area Convention and Visitors Bureau for the Monopoly Sculptures.
