PUBLIC COMMENTS – Citizens wishing to address the City Council on matters germane to the agenda of the meeting will be limited to Three (3) minutes and are asked to be brief and concise in making their remarks. Comments submitted by mail or email will not be read aloud but a copy will be provided to each member of the Council and made a part of the minutes.
1. Discussion on authorizing Committee of the Whole Power to Act on a Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Macomb and the Fraternal Order of Police. POWER TO ACT. Council granted COW Power to Act at their January 16th meeting.
A copy of the MOU will be dispersed at the meeting. Discussion is planned. Final action is in order.
2. Discussion on authorizing Committee of the Whole Power to Act on awarding the bid for the Johnson Street Project to Gunther Construction, a Division of UCM, Inc. in the amount of $6,189,408.27. POWER TO ACT.
Council granted COW Power to Act at their January 16th meeting. A memo is attached from PW Director Ohrtmann. This was a recommendation by PW Committee. Discussion is planned. Final action is in order.
3. Discussion on authorizing Committee of the Whole Power to Act on awarding the bid for the Adams Street Project to Laverdiere Construction, Inc. in the amount of $1,378,046.00. POWER TO ACT.
Council granted COW Power to Act at their January 16th meeting. A memo is attached from PW Director Ohrtmann. This was a recommendation by PW Committee. Discussion is planned. Final action is in order.
4. Discussion on the new Water Treatment Plant Facility Options.
A memo is attached from PW Director Ohrtmann. This was discussed at PW Committee. Discussion is planned.
5. Discussion on the Waste Water Treatment Plant Upgrades Phase 2.
A memo is attached from PW Director Ohrtmann. This was discussed at PW Committee. Discussion is planned.
