Nichole Osborn:  Nichole Osborn is in the custody of the Henry County Jail. Osborn rejected an offer from the state for 15 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections (IDOC) and another offer for 6-7 years in IDOC. A Jury Trial is scheduled for February 27 and 28, 2025. Nichole Osborn is charged with Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm (Class 1 Felony).

Audrey McLaurin: Continue to allow the pending case to be included in negotiations. The victim needs to be notified about the new plea deal. A Final Pre-Trial is scheduled for March 17, 2025, at 9 AM. Audrey McLaurin is charged with Aggravated Battery/Peace Officer (Class 2 Felony), Resisting (Class A Misdemeanor), and Endangering a Child (Class A Misdemeanor) for case 2024CF162. McLaurin is charged with Aggravated Assault/Public Property (Class A Misdemeanor), Battery/Makes Physical Contact (Class A Misdemeanor), and Battery/Cause Bodily Harm (Class A Misdemeanor) for case 2025CM1.

Gage Peed: Gage Peed remains in custody. The defense has a counteroffer to send to the state. A Final Pre-Trial is scheduled for March 17, 2025, at 9 AM. Gage Peed is charged with Violation of Sex Offender Registration (Class 3 Felony) for case 24CF168, Residential Burglary (Class 1 Felony), Unlawful Possession of Credit/Debit Card (Class 3 Felony), and Theft <$500 (Class A Misdemeanor) for case 24CF284, and Violation of Sex Offender Registration (Class 3 Felony) and Sexual Predator in a Public Park (Class A Misdemeanor) for case 24CF285.

Nickolus McPherson: McPherson was scheduled to enter a treatment facility, but there was a loss in the family. He still intends to enter a facility. The defense needs to gather the details and paperwork for the treatment facility. A Final Pre-Trial is scheduled for March 17, 2025, at 9 AM. Nickolus McPherson is charged with Possession of Meth 5<15 grams (Class 2 Felony), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Class 4 Felony), Driving under the Influence of a Drug (Class A Misdemeanor), and Driving on a Suspended License (Class A Misdemeanor) for case 2024CF6. McPherson is charged with Possession of Meth <5 grams (Class 3 Felony) and Felon in Possession of a Weapon (Class 3 Felony) for case 2024CF29. McPherson is charged with Possession of Meth <5 grams (Class 3 Felony) and Possession of a Controlled Substance (Class 3 Felony) for case 2024CF48.

Joshua Sloan: Joshua Sloan remains in custody. They are working on a global offer. A Final Pre-Trial is scheduled for March 17, 2025, at 9 AM. Joshua Sloan is charged with Resisting with Injury (Class 2 Felony), Resisting (Class 4 Felony), Public Indecency (Class A Misdemeanor), and Resisting a Peace Officer (Class A Misdemeanor) for case 2023CF358. Sloan is charged with Aggravated Battery of a Nurse (Class 3 Felony)  for case 2024CF20. Sloan is charged with Resisting Correctional Office (Class 4 Felony), Attempt to Disarm Correctional Officer (Class 2 Felony), and five counts of Obstructing (Class A Misdemeanor) for case 2024CF23. Sloan is charged with Aggravated Assault of a Correctional Officer (Class 4 Felony) and Aggravated Assault/Public Place (Class A Misdemeanor) for case 2024CF64.

Joshua Sloan was found guilty on counts one, two, and four in case 23CF358 and not guilty on count 3 in a bench trial on December 3, 2024. The felony resisting count was merged with the attempt to disarm count. Judge Hathaway sentenced Sloan to five years in the Illinois Department of Corrections for attempting to disarm, followed by one year of Mandatory Supervised Release, he gets credit for time served and day-for-day credit. He was sentenced to 48 hours in the Henry County Jail for the misdemeanor resisting count. He was found not guilty on the public indecency charge.
